Xmas came almost too fast. All of a sudden, it's here. 2 days of holidays + weekends. It totally felt like a vacation.
Went to in-law for xmas dinner on Thurs nite. Very very good traditional turkey dinner and extremely delicious salads. I really like the lettuce salad with nuts, cranberries and bacon bits. The other corn and bean salad was also very good. For dessert, we had the traditional minced pie w/ home-made rum sauce and some other store bought cakes.
Managed to do some boxing day shopping, even w/ the ongoing snow. Scored some really good deals @ The Bay, bought 2 pans and a toaster.
Loving the pans so far, and the toaster. The pans are so much easier to clean than the regular teflon pans. They're much lighter and don't need much oil to cook with. I hope I didn't make permanent damage to ourselves from eating the teflon stuffs....
For clothes, bought 2 hoodies, 2 t-shirts, 3 blouses, 1 tank top (bought along w/ the blouse, only $5 ea), and 1 sketcher sandal (only 39.99!!). Forgot that there were shoes at The Bay, totally missed that section. Heard that it's almost 50%.... Really wanted to get a camera but really don't want to commit 1xx or 2xx to it.... maybe I'll get one in HK in Jan.
Went to Esther café after going to the library on Sat. They had really good espresso latte for only 2.99 (on sale price for at least 2 mths now).

Made red thai chicken curry on Sun w/ store bought curry paste and canned coconut milk. I liked it more than the curry that I made w/ the curry powder from superstore.... so much that I had to had a 2nd helping (a tiny one) b4 bed....
